 So, i've totally spoilt myself for this weeks SGA episode 'Outcast' but i couldn't resist peeking at the stills on the MGM website....could John be any hotter??? (me thinks not *ahh*!)

Anyway, having shown my sister 

mirafemina the hottness that is 'the God of Yum'  & pondering over the cast change that is due to be officially announced tomorrow i started thinking and hoping that TPTB couldn't be so daft.....

I love being a fan girl

So, hands up all of you who just watched the Seaon finale of Robin Hood and screamed 'WTF!' at the TV screen?....

 Yay - my SGA Season 2 box set has arrived!

I had to watch 'Seige part 3' & my favourite 'Intruder' scene with John & Elizabeth in the mess hall on the Daedalus (Sparky midnight coffee meetings just make me feel all warm & fuzzy).

Watching these has made my 'lickle heart ache for Lizzie - 1 more week to go til TMC (I'm not sure my nerves can stand it!) 

Having watched 'The Seer' last week, i hav to agree with my sci-fi sibling who commented whilst supping tea & eating my stash of dark Kit-Kats:

'What the FRAK is Sam doing that Lizzie wasn't?' .........didly squat is the answer my darling sister. TPTB are not giving Sam anything more to do besides sit in her office or stand in a SDA (Sparky designated Area), so why give Torri the old 'heave ho' ? After sitting in on her talk at Manchester Collectormania i get the impression she was as suprised as we all were that she wasn't going to be a regular character.

BOO!

Have TPTB lost their marbles?  I fear they have, along with a few viewers too!

I am absolutely bloody knackered! - but what a FABULOUS day we had!

Jason Momoa looked a trifle hung over (bless him) but he was an really cool dude & very friendly - ALOHA!

Torri was really lovely - i was suprised at how slight  she was ( i wanted to feed her up) but she was also realy friendly & made our autographs really personal.She also  said............

We saw Connor Trineer and 

mirafemina had a photo op with James Marsters - he was a real 'smoocher'

We were good & didn't buy any 'crap' this time!

Not too long ago, on a TV in Leicester.................

Can't believe how much I enjoyed terrestrial TV's showing of the original (& best) Star Wars movies!

Even my 7 year old daughter was mesmerised by the special effects & the creatures George Lucas & Co created all those years ago.

(She thought Jabba and the Rancor were disgusting- but wanted to know where she could get herself an Ewok!) - mirafemina- didn't you have an Ewok? or was it a Gremlin?.....

.....anyway, I swooned at my 'original sci-fi crush' Han Solo and pondered his similarities to Sheppard - a cocky but charming , hot pilot with a gun strapped to his hip accompanied by his loyal, big, hairy satedan wookie side kick!

I may have to treat myself to the digitally re-mastered DVD's!

WOW -  I must really have liked 'Travellers' cos i've just watched it again!

'This Mortal Coil'.........

So, Collectormania MK was just Fabulous!

The guests were really great - my sis had an autograph session with Robert Picardo (or 'Bob' as he likes to be called) - what a lovely guy, quite a firt!

Jewel Staite was beautiful (as was Kevin Sorbo - i must try to get into Andromeda), Chris Judge was a HOOT, something funny had happened to him in the loo's & he was giggling like a girl!

The biggest suprise was Michael Shanks - what a gorgeous, charming guy! He was full of smiles, really friendly & not opposed to a right good squeeze in the photo ops!

Needless to say,I am now gagging for collectormania manchester next month where i can cuddle Jason Momoa....and hey...'Trip Wraith' Connor Trinneer has just been announced (be still my sci-fi heart)

BRING IT ON!

 I am a little excited at the possibility of Torri coming to P3!

Collectormania MK in a couple of weeks & maybe Collectormania Manchester in November!

Its a Sci-Fi frenzy !

So, in my opinion Nora Roberts is the queen of the Romance novelists! 

Its not just a matter of man meets woman, man pursues woman, gives her a good sortin & then they live happily ever after..............well, actually I guess it is basically that but with Nora you get a whole lot more!

Her stories appeal to me cos they usually have a supernatural / magical twist  which makes me think she is a closet sci-fi geek. (In fact between you & me,I'm sure she is a SPARKY shipper - ha ha).However, i've just watched the dramatisation of one of her  books on ITV3 called 'Angels Fall' & I have to say it was the biggest pile of poop i've ever seen. 

Heather Locklear was the female lead lookin' like she'd had some serious botox treatment  & giving a diabolical performance as the vulnerable, traumatized heroine! No wonder she hasn't been in much since frakkin' Dynasty (didn't she play the wife of the gay guy who is Clare's dad in Heroes?).
Anyhow - the only saving grace was that the hero was a bit of a stud muffin, but again his take on the 'Brody' character in the book was way off!

Despite this I'm still going to watch the other TV adaptations of some classic Nora's - I'm hoping for better things from Scott Bakula (yay for Captain Archer!) in 'Blue Smoke'. 

Being on a bit of a downer cos of SGA Season 4 spoilers i've treated myself to a photo op with 'The Shanks' at Collectormania next month. In H's words, i just hope he doesn't 'pull a Torri'.........

Trying to justify the trip to Manchester to meet Mr Mamoa in November........do i need to eat that month?
